Volunteering at Mosk
Mosk welcomes parent and family volunteers! Volunteering at your student's school is a great way to support their education and to build community. Please read the the information below to learn how to volunteer.

Volunteer Process
1. Online Application – submitted by prospective volunteer @ https://volunteerapp.lausd.net.
2. Online Application Review – submitted by the school/office
The school principal/approver must verify and approve that the volunteer has met all requirements, including:

* Completed application, printed and signed, kept on file
* Approved application by the Office of Parent and Community Services
* Signed Volunteer Commitment Form
* Megan’s Law clearance through https://www.meganslaw.ca.gov
* Tuberculosis test clearance through a medical provider
* Fingerprinting (when applicable)
* On-Campus volunteers have COVID-19 vaccination card uploaded and approved on the LAUSD Daily Pass
* Approved application by the Office of Parent and Community Services
* Signed Volunteer Commitment Form

Resources for Volunteers
For Fingerprints, volunteers need to attend a virtual training and have the QR Code charging at the end of the meeting with them for a free fingerprint.
For TB test until now no free locations have been shared but check below with some low-price locations' information. Also, parents can ask their Physician/family doctor for a free TB test or if they have a legal situation, they can apply for emergency medical from the DPSS then having a Physician with a free TB test.
