LAUSD annually updates and provides its Parent Student Handbook at the beginning of each school year.  Digital copies are available HERE.

 

This robust Parent/Student Handbook outlines the major policies and procedures
that guide student life across Los Angeles Unified. It is important that you familiarize yourself with the content
because students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that aligns with the information and guidelines
contained herein.

 

Stanley Mosk has developed a written Title I parental involvement policy with input from Title I parents. This was discussed at the annual school-wide Title I meeting. It was reviewed and edited by the Title I Parent Committee. The policy was also presented at the English Learner Advisory Committee and School Site Council meeting on October 27, 2022. The policy is available in the front office at any time. In addition, parents can meet with the Principal or the Categorical Program Advisor to further discuss the policy. The policy is reviewed and updated annually. In addition, it is a component of the comprehensive School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).

School-Parent Compact for Achievement A School-Parent Compact for Achievement is an agreement that parents, students and teachers develop together. It explains how parents and teachers will work together to make sure all our students reach or exceed grade level standards.  This year compact is linked below in English and Spanish.
